In the fall of 2016 a non-profit I support, HomePlate Youth Services, moved into a new more permanent location in Beaverton, Oregon. This was a very important upgrade for HomePlate and allowed them to expand the vital services they provide to youth experiencing homelessness and housing instability in Washington County. Sometimes a quicky project is just what the Veterinarian ordered for an increase in Facebook shares. A simple fun “Veterinary Holiday Bingo” sent out around the holidays earned atdove.org over 700 total shares plus hundreds of ‘likes’ and comment interactions from users across the country. Not my most captivating visual work, but a great holiday social media bump for an hour of work.
Not all my design ideas see the light outside my office or move forward to the last round of client presentations.
